There is a growing rebellion in Texas against the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC) that promises to dislodge (e.g., eminent domain seizures) between 500,000 and 1,000,00 acres of prime Texas ranch and farm land so that a 1,200 foot NAFTA transportation Super Corridor can be built by a foreign corporation to transport containers full of foreign goods from Mexico to Kansas City. One group of concerned Oklahomans have realized that Oklahoma is next on the globalist menu.

You see, the planned I-35 Super Corridor is scheduled to run straight through Oklahoma and consume some 32,000 acres of privately-held property.

A group of local citizens formed Oklahomans for Sovereignty and Free Enterprise (OK-SAFE) in order to make sure it doesn’t happen.

And their first public meeting (on Saturday, September 29) in Tulsa drew over 300 energized Oklahomans, local media and several state legislators to discuss the issues and hammer out a strategy.

Nationally known speakers were flown in: David Stall of Corridor Watch in Texas; Dr. Jerome Corsi, author of The Late Great USA. and Tom DeWeese of American Policy Center in Washington; D.C. Local speakers included members of the Oklahoma state Senate and House. National attention was provided by the discrete presence of the Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA), which represents over 100,000 Americans all across the country.

David Stall’s meticulous and well-documented presentation detailed how Texas is being railroaded by trade-hungry corporate fascists and warned that Oklahoma is next. Gasps of astonishment could be heard. Few had any idea that it had progressed this far, this fast.

His conclusion, “Not one ounce of concrete for the Oklahoma Super Corridor!” drew cheers, whoops and a standing ovation for DeWeese a nationally known expert on Sovereignty and Private-Public Partnerships.

By contrast, Dr. Jerome Corsi was applauded at least a dozen times, and received a standing ovation at his conclusion.

Senator Randy Brogdan pledged to submit legislation to summarily withdraw Oklahoma from the Super Corridor's main promoter, NASCO. More cheers and applause. “We don’t need a new superhighway four-football-fields-wide coming through the heart of our state just so Mexican trucks can carry Chinese containers from Mexican ports to Kansas City,” he said.

Eager ears listened to Representative John Wright’s concrete examples on how citizens can be involved in the legislative process.

Copies of Corsi’s new best-selling book, The Late Great USA, were predictably gobbled up and then created an enthusiastic traffic jam when he hung around afterward for an autograph session.

Freedom and sovereignty are not yet dead, at least in the hearts of these hardy souls.

Of such is the resistance against the globalist steamroller.

Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper is one of the Security and Prosperity Partnership’s “Three Amigos” who are pledged to merge Canada, Mexico and the U.S. into one big happy North American Community. He gave a surprising speech last Tuesday to the Council on Foreign Affairs in New York.

The Star (Canada) reports that Harper was "deeply concerned" that the political discourse in the U.S. had been infected by "populism, protectionism and nationalism in an unhealthy sense."

Eh, What? Did Harper have a premonition of the Tulsa rally?

Well, we hear you, Stephen. Do you hear us? You may be waiting a long, long time for your supposedly non-existent NAFTA Super Corridor to show up at your Canadian border.

Alas! Tulsa. With the weekend behind and everyone safely back to where they belong, one has a lingering sense that something historic has just taken place. Other states are already waiting for their chance to jump on board.
