About the Nordic Venture Network (NVN)

Nordic Venture Network (NVN), established in 1999, is a private club of the 12 leading Technology Venture Capital firms in the Nordic region.
 
NVN focuses on strategic relationship building between the members and international financial and industrial players. In addition NVN also acts as a discussion forum of joint issues between the members as well as between the members and the major Nordic Private Equity investors.
 
Nordic Venture Network is a unique strategic tool for relevant international parties wanting to cover the Nordic Technology Venture Capital market in an efficient way. Through NVN international players, such as investors, venture funds, advisors and large technology companies, get access to strategic business relations to the leading firms on the Nordic market. Since all leading Nordic based Technology Venture firms are members of NVN, the members make up at least 80% of the Nordic Venture Tech market.

The Nordic region, the working field for the NVN members
The Nordic region includes some of the world's most advanced IT nations and can rightfully claim to be one big high-tech cluster. All the prerequisites are in place: a strong industrial platform, demanding multinational customers, progressive use of IT in the public and private sectors, an advanced infrastructure and high levels of entrepreneurial activity in combination with excellent supply of initiated investors.

Joint Managing Directors of Nordic Venture Network are Mr. Carl-Peter Mattsson and Mr. Erik Johansson. Both Mr Mattsson and Mr Johansson joined NVN in the spring of 2003 from The Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund, AP6. From AP6 they have between them 11 years of private equity experience including strategic allocation, direct investing, fund investing, portfolio monitoring and responsibility for international affairs.
 
Today, the 12 members of Nordic Venture Network have between them about 2.5 billion EURO under management, 250 portfolio companies and 100 investment professionals.
